“Muller”… go ahead, take a day off… we won’t tell!  Just don’t wreck the Ferrari!

You won’t find these Muller-Thurgau grapes on the Austrian side of the border, despite the fact they are grown in higher volumes in Osterreich.  To find our Muller-Thurgau grapes, drive your Ferrari north from the Danube and enjoy the scenery before arriving in the area where these German grapes hail from.  It’s a funny thing to think of this wine as not sweet, since it is a crossing of Riesling and Madeleine Royale, but our Muller-Thurgau definitely leans to the drier side of the scale.  You will notice notes of hay, dried herbs, apples and white vegetables such as celery root, cabbage turnip and radish.  Pair this wine with light dishes, such as vegetable dishes and salads.  This is also one of those rare wines that pairs with asparagus and artichoke!
