This Amarone contains the grape Corvinone (pronounced as cor-vin-no-nay). This varietal change has become more popular with Veneto winemakers due to its “denser color and superior flavors” versus the Molinara grape. The nose of this wine has intensely bright alcohol, showing fresh black cherry, baking spices, violet and a hint of anise. Palate profiles include sour cherries, blackberry, quince, clover and peppercorn. Amarone will continuously develop for up to 15 years.
